This subdivision was formerly a golf course and Klein, Thorpe & Jenkins attorneys helped the Village of Western Springs with it by navigating contracts and agreements for the many intricate complex pieces of this project. The Timber Trails subdivision includes a 338 unit residential development. KTJ attorneys handled the annexation process and zoning entitlement. They also prepared an annexation/development agreement and arranged a $55 million Special Assessment Bond issuance. Additionally, they created a special service area district for subdivision public improvements and worked on a land Acquisition Agreement with the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority. In total, this was a $350+ million project.
