Klein, Thorpe & Jenkins, Ltd. values equity, diversity, and inclusion. As a result, KTJ is committed to collective and individual actions that strengthen our ability as a Firm to gain knowledge/education regarding EDI developments, implement internal policies and procedures that follow EDI best practices, embrace a culture of EDI in relationships and services provided to clients, and promote EDI in our collaboration with outside groups.
We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace enhances the quality of legal services we provide to our clients, strengthens collaboration, and ensures that all individuals are respected and valued.
Standing Committee:
As a result of KTJ’s commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, KTJ has created a standing EDI Committee whose role is to consider and coordinate EDI efforts both internally and in outward facing interactions.

- Ensure fair and equitable access to professional opportunities and resources.
- Address any instances of discrimination or inequality promptly and effectively.
Diversity
- Recruit, develop, retain, and promote a diverse workforce that reflects our community and clients.
- Actively seek to include individuals from underrepresented groups at all levels of the firm.
- Celebrate differences and foster an environment of mutual respect.
Inclusion
- Ensure that all individuals feel heard and valued, regardless of their race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other characteristics.
- Provide resources and training to build a more inclusive workplace.
- Encourage open dialogue, transparency and feedback to continually improve EDI efforts.
