Partner Mallory A. Milluzzi provided best practices for online and social media communication at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s 2026 Municipal Clerks of Illinois Institute and Master Academy in Bloomington, Illinois.
Mallory’s session, “Digital and Social Media Communications,” took place from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 8, in which she discussed:
- Freedom of Information Act
- Open Meetings Act
- Local Records Act
- First Amendment and Social Media
The Institute is a three-year progressive curriculum for municipal clerks looking to advance in their profession. Through lectures, discussions and practical exercises held over the course of one week, attendees build foundational, leadership, governance, strategic thinking and public engagement skills. The conference also gives clerks the opportunity to connect with peers at varying experience levels.
