Overview
Everette Hill served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in DuPage County until 1976 when he went into private practice specializing in local government law, especially litigation and land use.
Everette served for seven years as the Chairman of the Illinois Secretary of State’s Traffic Safety Advisory Council and as such frequently appeared before the Illinois Legislature to testify on behalf of the Secretary’s legislative programs.
Everette is the principal attorney for the Villages of Northfield, Mount Prospect and Fox River Grove. Everette has argued numerous cases in the Illinois Appellate and Supreme Courts. Everette Hill, Jr. graduated from Wheaton College in 1968 and received his J.D. degree from the John Marshall Law School in 1975.

- Everette has served as Chairman of the North Shore Prosecutors Association and serves on the Attorney’s Committee of the Northwest Municipal Conference. He is also a member of the Illinois Local Government Lawyers Association.

- Everette has been recognized by Crain’s Chicago as one of the leading lawyers in Illinois in the government related field. He has been named a Leading Lawyer by Law Bulletin Media, a peer-recommended distinction awarded to fewer than 5% of attorneys in Illinois.
- Everette has a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent/Distinguished peer rating, indicating the highest ranking in legal ability and ethical standards as determined by peers in the legal community.
