KTJ represents numerous for profit and not-for-profit business entities.  In assisting for profit business entities, KTJ has experience in the formation, organization, and incorporation of C corporations, S corporations, LLPs, LLCs, partnerships and other business entities.  KTJ has worked with these business entities in servicing their various needs including but not limited to employment, pension, liability, real estate, construction, and purchases and sales. KTJ also represents numerous individuals who own closely held business entities and KTJ has experience in providing for business succession planning including the use of buy-sell and redemption agreements.

KTJ has also served the various needs of not-for-profit business entities.  KTJ has counseled not-for-profit corporations in their formation, incorporation, registration with the Illinois Attorney General, application for recognition of tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service as well as tax-exempt status for purposes of sales and property taxes.  KTJ serves as corporate counsel for several not-for-profit corporations and has assisted their needs involving fund-raising, acquisitions, membership, and the filing of information returns.
